The Zaishen Mission date on Eternal Grove is fast approaching. My hope is to coordinate at least 1-3 other players (in order to run a split strategy) who are interested in joining me and then fill any gaps using heroes. I'd like players interested in joining me to post the following information:

1. Completion status of Eternal Grove hard mode: Already completed on desired character / Still need on desired character
2. Primary profession of desired character
3. Available secondary professions of desired character (only include those with a decent number of skills unlocked).
4. Planned build to use for mission. Please see http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/The_E...ecommendations for reference when determining a build for your character that would help contribute.
5. Date/times available to do mission w/ timezone.
6. Availability of well designed heroes. State hero's primary profession and build.

Example:

1. Still need
2. Monk
3. Ritualist
4. 12 restoration / 12 channeling. Signet of Spirits {E}, Vampirism, Spirit Siphon, Life, Recuperation, Recovery, Protective was Kaolai, Mend Body and Soul

5. Hopefully, one of the following times will line up with other players
2/18 4-7 PM Pacific Standard Time (GMT -8)
2/19 6-7, 8-10 PM PST
2/20 6-7, 9-10 PM PST
2/21 6-7, 8-10 PM PST
2/22 6-7, 8-10 PM PST
2/23 9:30-11:30 AM PST

6. I have 3 domination Esurge/Cry/Mistrust mesmers. Also have a N/Rt BIP restoration healer w/ strip enchantment and a Rt/Me with Soul Twisting/Displacement/Shelter/Shadowsong/Sig Clumsy

I generally do that particular ZM a couple times for daily coins, but I could do it on all my characters if people really want or need it. PM me for my IGN.

Some of those hours are a bit late for me.

It's been an online RPG that is played by most like an offline RPG for a few years now. These complaints are really crying wolf at a time when very few care.

There is no ultimate cure, it's just a slow decent until they pull the plug. The only responsibility Anet has for this is really offering little to no incentive to team up compared to not.Adding the grind and "c-space=win" heroes really was the nail in the coffin imo.

In saying at least your being proactive. I've found joining new guilds can help but more than anything utilizing GW2 as a means to meet old GW1 players and team up has by far been my most successful experience.

Many GW2 guilds organize regular times and events where they jump back into GW1.

I'd suggest this as the best avenue to meet players, specifically for targeting goals where other players are still preferable to a easymode hero team.

Good luck in game

I have a bunch of characters that could help out (I dont look up builds, but I have done the mission many times with sucess with the builds I have).
Let me know what you need. (the later times work better for me any of those days, I just need to know so I can plan accordingly).
send me a pm and we can work something out

Heros can't fill the role of players for Fort Aspenwood or Jade Quarry. It's not exaggerated when people play missions like Eternal Grove, Moddock Crevice or Dzagonur Bastion in Hm with heros and have to manage them. Real players are what people would rather have in these cases. Steps would need to be taken to adjust the game in certain areas to make it a little hero friendlier.

As for using GW2, I have no interest in that game. I knew long before it's release that it wasn't the game for me.

I'm unsure of the reason for your post other then promoting GW2? As it has nothing to do with helping or offering your service...

So I have coordinated with jayson and Cuilan in game and we agreed to meet in Eternal Grove at 4 Pacific / 7 Eastern on 2/18. I'll be on the stated Monk build full of Ritualist skills (since ritualist has better skills). jayson will be on Ranger with Pain Inverter. Cuilan will be on Elementalist likely with a Fire Magic build.

We'll be looking for other players to join us either via this thread or directly in the Eternal Grove pre-mission district.

cosy - your bringing a MM would really help out. Does the 4 Pacific / 7 Eastern on 2/18 time work for you as well? (cosy yes to both)

I agree. Some of the most fun I've ever had in PvE. I honestly don't know how we held it together each of those 2 times and managed to get Master's reward both times.

Was it?
A) Duct tape & chicken wire.
B) PFM - where the P is for Pure and M is Magic. I'll leave the F as an exercise to the reader.
